AUTHORIZE TRANSACTIONS EFFICIENTLY AND SECURELY
With the photoTAN app, you can securely authorize crucial transactions within online and mobile banking. Once you have input and submitted all necessary transaction details in online banking, a colored graphic will be presented if the photoTAN procedure is active. By scanning this graphic with the photoTAN app, a transaction number (TAN) will be generated, enabling you to validate the transaction. To utilize the photoTAN procedure, an activation letter must be obtained, which can be requested through online banking.

- PHOTOTAN APP AND NORISBANK APP
- When initiating a money transfer with the "norisbank App," simply tap on the "Generate TAN" button below your transaction summary. This action will launch the photoTAN app, where a TAN is generated, ready for transfer to the "norisbank App." Within the norisbank app, a final tap on "Execute" completes the transaction.
- PHOTOTAN PUSH APPROVAL
- For online banking login using the photoTAN app's new push functionality, you will no longer need to scan a graphic. Instead, a push notification will be sent. Upon tapping the notification, the photoTAN app login screen appears, allowing you to log in via PIN or Fingerprint Login, validate your login, and then access online banking directly. You can similarly approve your norisbank Visa and Mastercard online payments by clicking on the push notification, logging into your photoTAN app, and confirming the transaction.
- SECURITY
- The photoTAN app includes PIN protection and supports Fingerprint login for seamless and quick access. Transactions conducted on online and mobile banking platforms using the photoTAN app benefit from norisbank's security guarantee.
- The photoTAN app requires specific permissions on your smartphone:
- - "Camera" access to scan the photoTAN graphic
- - "Device-ID" and "Call information" for security measures to prevent misuse
- - "Vibration" permission for feedback during graphic scanning
- - "Allow notifications" for receiving push notifications to approve orders in online/mobile banking
